Slater students in grades 6–12 participating in any sport or band can receive a FREE sports physical before the 2026–27 school year.

Reminder: Sports physicals are valid for two years. If you did not receive a physical during the 2025–26 sports season, you will need one to participate during the 2026–27 season.
Due to low attendance, Band Camp for Monday and Tuesday are cancelled. I will see everyone on Wednesday at 8am in the Band Room for marching fundamentals. See you soon! S-L-A

If you did not receive a physical during the 25-26 sports season you will need one for the 26-27 season.
Look at the section number to indicate what hour the course is, as the site can sometimes scramble the order. Example: Section 100 = 1st Hour, etc.
Reminder: Registration for all students does not open through the building offices until July 27. Incoming rural students who have confirmed schedule requests have placement in courses.
Pre-Registration for students who are new to the Slater School District opens June 29.
This process helps us begin planning for new students before full registration opens later this summer. Full registration for the 2026-27 school year will take place after July 27, when office staff return from summer break.

Are you getting a little one ready to take their very first steps into elementary school? It’s officially time to help us plan ahead for our newest learners!
We need the community's help identifying any new student who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Getting an accurate count now ensures our staff can prepare the absolute best environment, resources, and classrooms for your child's big transition.

Eligible graduates may pick up their Chromebooks during the following times in J Clem’s Office:
📅 Wednesday, June 3 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📅 Thursday, June 4 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
To keep a Chromebook, graduates must:
✔️ Finish with a 90% attendance rate or better
✔️ Turn in the machine assigned to them in May
