Graybar Construction Trades Scholarship will be awarded to students across the United States who will enroll full time as undergraduate students in an accredited nonprofit two-year college or technical school program in the construction trades or enter an apprenticeship program. Fifty>span class="m_1883819025649505584e2ma-style"> students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for one additional year.\r\n To be eligible, the applicant must:\r\n -be a graduating high school senior, have graduated high school, or have earned a high school equivalency diploma (GED, HiSET, TASC)\r\n-plan to enroll full time in a nonprofit community college, technical school, trade school, vocational school or apprenticeship program in the United States of America\r\n-intend to complete an associate degree, pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, or certificate program leading to work in the construction trades (such as carpentry, construction management, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, sheet metal, welding, telcom, etc.)\r\n-have achieved a minimum grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, 456 on the GED, or 60 on the HiSET (at least an 8 on each subtest) or equivalent scores on a state-sanctioned test\r\n-demonstrate financial need\r\n \r\n |
